Raving on: Heather’s book was the first in a stream of 10 co-authored books that I co-wrote between 1999-2002.
We lived and breathed this book. Heather’s book is a first class example of a book that was co-authored with energy and enthusiasm from both sides.
I stayed in a motel in Bowral, Heather and Garry’s home town, and where we wrote the book surprisingly fast.
I have only three regrets: (1) The back cover should have been the front cover, (2) the last chapter should have been the first chapter – which was my fault, and (3) the publisher should have used my title, ‘Marathon Woman’.
Prior to publication, Heather and I read the last chapter to a live audience at the Bowral Café. The reading, and accompanying music was taped.
