1967 – This Is It! (1990) CD
After the release of the 1967 novel I conducted many
coffee shop readings with Dave Jensen (sax) and Tony
Stacey (guitar) providing the musical accompaniment. |
These recordings are from a radio interview on 2RRR-FM.
The two songs, This Is It and Communist Girls are the 45rpm which is included
with the book, featuring a fictitious high school band called the Blitz. The
recordings are taken from the radio.
Unfortunately, most people – myself included - no longer have turntables
in working condition, and so we made this CD so that we could listen to the
songs.
